Meet Ilana Rosenberg

Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Founder of Ilana Therapy

Ilana Rosenberg is a licensed clinical social worker practicing in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Florida. Ilana specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for adults and adolescents coping with a variety of symptoms and life stressors. Ilana graduated from Tufts University, majoring in child development. She went on to get her Masters in Social Work at Yeshiva University Wurzweiler School of Social Work, interning at both a special needs school in Israel and a public school in Washington Heights. Prior to opening her private practice, she spent over a decade practicing at NYU Langone Medical Center. She has expertise in working with patients with various health concerns and chronic medical conditions. 

Ilana is passionate about helping young adults navigate relationships, careers, and family dynamics. Ilana prides herself on being a zen therapist who organically integrates both her yoga practice and clinically proven techniques into her sessions. She utilizes empathy, encouragement, collaboration, and symptom-focused therapy techniques.

Clients can expect therapy to be a collaborative and personalized process that accounts for each person’s unique experiences, strengths, and circumstances.

Ilana guides her clients in achieving their goals using therapy as a playground to practice tools to assist with current struggles, behavior patterns, and barriers to happiness and fulfillment.
